Jonathan Trigg is an author and broadcaster and has written extensively on the Second World War; an expert on foreign volunteers in the armed forces of the Third Reich, Trigg’s Death on the Don: The Destruction of Germany’s Allies on the Eastern Front was nominated for the 2014 Pushkin Prize for Russian History.
